Live, work or study in any of the EU countriesThe Bulgarian Immigration by Investment programs provide for affluent persons of impeccable standing and repute, including their families, to receive the Bulgarian citizenship (EU passport) on the basis of an investment in Bulgaria. Once citizenship is granted, the applicant may live, work or study in any of the member countries of the European Union.
Applicants are not required to continuously live in Bulgaria before or after citizenship approval.
Visa free travel to over 150 countriesBulgarian citizenship offers full European Union benefits, including Schengen borderless travel. This means visa-free travel to more than 150 countries in the world.

Bulgaria is rich in tourist sights and historical artifacts which are located throughout the country's easily accessible territory. Bulgaria Permanent ResidencyResidency allows the applicant to live in Bulgaria as long as desired. Citizenship may be applied for after 60 months (5 years) in permanent residency status. The processing time for residency is about six months.
Residency can be obtained through an investment in corporate stocks, government bonds, local real estate, or the purchase of a life insurance product.
The lowest cost option to obtain residency entails financing the purchase of corporate stocks issued by companies listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange at a total non-refundable expense of Euro 185,000.
Bulgaria (EU) CitizenshipBulgarian citizenship, meaning the EU passport, allows the applicant to live, work, and study in any of the EU member countries, not just Bulgaria. In addition, Bulgarian citizens can live in the USA by applying for an E2 Visa.
Citizenship investment options include company stock, government bonds, local real estate, or life insurance products. Government bonds (unless financed) earn interest each year.
With "standard processing" an applicant may apply for citizenship after 60 months (5 years) in permanent residency status. There are various options to attain residency -- the lowest cost option entails financing the purchase of corporate stocks issued by companies listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange at a total non-refundable expense of Euro 185,000. Another option is the purchase of a fully-refundable life insurance product starting at EUR 250,000.
With "fast track processing" the time to EU citizenship and passport is reduced to only 18 months. The fast track processing service offers the investor four investment choices:
(1) Financing corporate stocks for a total non-refundable expense of Euro 270,000; or
(2) Financing government bonds for a total non-refundable expense of Euro 330,000; or
(3) Purchasing golf course real estate and/or local hotel equity shares at a cost of EUR 412,000 (excluding fees). The property must be held for at least seven years; or
(4) Purchasing government bonds at a cost of approx. EUR 1,024,000 (excluding fees). The amount of the bonds will be paid back to the applicant after a 5 year holding period; or
(5) Purchasing life insurance at a minimum investment of Euro 500,000. There are no additional service charges or handling fees. The investment is fully refundable. The applicant has an option to draw a cash loan against the life insurance premium.
With fast track processing the citizenship application process can be completed in as little as 18 months.
